Sometimes a sales tax agency will expire; for instance, a school tax or community improvement tax that runs for a limited time. To remove this sales tax agency from your sales taxes, follow the steps below.
- Select Maintain, then Sales Taxes from the Sage 50 menubar.
- Select Edit an existing sales tax or sales tax agency.
- Highlight the sales tax that you want to modify. Click Next.
- On the Edit Sales Tax window, click the Select box to the left of the sales tax agency that you want to remove from the sales tax. It should be unchecked when you are done.
- Click Finish.
- Repeat this process for any other sales taxes that must have this agency removed.
